Kim Cattrall
Kim Victoria
Cattrall was born 21 August 1956. She is a British actress and a Canadian
actor. Most famous is her performance in Sex and the City's Samantha Jones
(1998-2004), which earned her five Emmy Awards as well as four Golden Globe
Award nominations. She also received the 2002 Golden Globe Award for Best
Supporting Artistress. In the films Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the
City 2 (2010) she reprised her character. Cattrall's debut film was Rosebud
(1975) as well as she was later cast in different roles on television. The
1980s saw she rose to fame through films such as Ticket to Heaven (1981),
Police Academy (1984) and Hold-Up (1985). She was also seen in City Limits
(1985), Big Trouble in Little China(86), Mannequin (1987), Masquerade (1888),
Midnight Crossing (1988) and The Return of the Musketeers (1989). Tribute
(1980), Porky's(1981), Turk 182 (85) and Baby Geniuses(1999) were a few of her
appearances. Her other film credits include The Bonfire of the Vanities (1990),
Star Trek VI The Undiscovered Country (1991), Split Second (1992), Above
Suspicion (1995) 15 Minutes (2001), Crossroads (2002), Ice Princess (2005), My
Boy Jack (2007), The Ghost Writer (2010), and Meet Monica Velour (2010).
