Rachel Emily Nichols

Rachel Emily Nichols was the daughter of Alison Nichols and James Nichols. She was born in Augusta Maine. Nichols has English, French Canadian, German, Irish, Italian and Scottish ancestry. Cony High School was her high school in Augusta. She graduated there with a math diploma as well as a competitive high jump. Columbia University in New York City provided her with a double major in math and economics. She started modeling and launched a successful career with work for a variety of high-profile brands like Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch and L'Oreal. Rachel was inspired to try acting and was given a role in the HBO drama Sex and the City (1998). It was her first audition. In the prequel Dumb and Dumberer, When Harry met Lloyd (2003) She made her film debut as Jessica Matthews. Her career was a success with her the roles she played in projects like The Amityville Horror (2004), The Inside (2006), Alias (2002), and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009), Criminal Minds (2005) (a regular part in the role of FBI Agent Ashley Seaver) and Conan the Barbarian (2011). Her maternal grandfather was three-quarters Italian and one-quarter German and her maternal grandmother had English and Scottish ancestral roots. Nichols and Zoe Saldana, her Star Trek: (2009) co-star together, have worked together with Stephen Lang. Saldana and Lang in Avatar (2008); Nichols and Lang in Conan the Barbarian (2011). On December 30 2013 she was engaged to real estate developer Michael Kershaw. She is naturally blonde.
